Start - Dalakot Parking

Begin at the marked parking area in Hveragerði. Well-maintained trail starts immediately with views over the town.

1km - Geothermal Activity Begins

First hot springs and fumaroles appear. Steam rises from the ground creating an otherworldly atmosphere.

2km - Steaming Valley Views

Panoramic views open up over the entire valley. Dozens of steaming vents visible across the landscape.

3.2km - The Hot River

Arrive at the famous bathing spots along the naturally heated river. Multiple pools of varying temperatures.
