What is Eighteen Summers?

Eighteen Summers is a private keepsake app designed around the idea that we only get 18 summers with our children before adulthood. It gives you a visual horizon from Summer 0 to Summer 18, a place for simple seasonal intentions, and one defining photo per summer.

Where are my photos and stories stored?

Everything is stored privately on your iPhone. The app has no server, no user accounts, and no cloud database. Your photos and memories never leave your device unless you choose to export a backup.

How do I choose the defining photo for each summer?

Tap any summer card on the timeline to open its detail view, then tap 'Add Golden Photo'. It opens the native iOS photo picker so you can select the single picture that defined that season.

How do I backup my family's memories?

Open Settings → Export Backup to create an archive of all profiles, intentions, and photos via the iOS share sheet to save in Files, AirDrop, or your private cloud drive.

Can I add multiple children?

Yes! You can add profiles for each child. Each profile maintains its own distinct 18-summer visual horizon, intentions list, and keepsake photo gallery.
