What is TrialGuard for?
Free trials that quietly become charges. Add a trial the moment you start it, and TrialGuard warns you before it bills you and gives you the link that actually cancels it.
When does it warn me?
48 hours, 24 hours and 2 hours before anything bills you. If you add something that is already inside that window, it warns you right away instead of silently giving up. Every reminder carries two actions: Cancel Now, which opens the cancellation page, and Already Canceled.
Why does it ask for notifications?
Because the reminders are the whole point. TrialGuard asks the first time you track something rather than on launch. If you decline, the app keeps working but shows a banner saying it cannot warn you; you can turn reminders on later in iOS Settings.
Can it cancel a subscription for me?
No, and it does not pretend to. It takes you straight to the page where you cancel it yourself. Anything billed through the App Store opens the iOS subscriptions screen instead, because that is the only place those can be canceled.
Do I have to connect my bank?
Never. TrialGuard has no bank linking, no card details and no access to your transactions. It knows only what you type in, which is the entire reason it exists.
Why does it show two different amounts?
Because they are different things. Paying now is what is actually charging you today. If you don't cancel is what your free trials will start charging. A trial is never counted as money you have already spent.
Which services are built in?
66, each with its own direct cancellation link — Netflix, Peacock, Paramount+, Max, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Audible, Adobe, Peloton, DoorDash, Walmart+, Xbox Game Pass and more. Pick one and its price, cycle and cancellation link are filled in for you. Anything not listed can be added by hand with its own link.
The prices in the catalog are wrong for me.
They are starting points, not live prices. The catalog uses typical United States prices, and every field is editable before and after you save. Set the amount you are actually being charged.
I canceled by mistake. Can I undo it?
Yes. Marking something as canceled is reversible — open it and choose Mark as Still Active, and its reminders come back. Deleting is separate and asks you to confirm first.
Where is my data kept?
In a single file inside TrialGuard on your iPhone. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising, and the app works fully in Airplane Mode.
How do I back it up or move it?
Settings offers Create Backup, which writes a dated JSON file you can save or send anywhere through the iOS share sheet. TrialGuard has no cloud sync, so nothing is uploaded unless you do it yourself.
How do I erase my data?
Delete individual subscriptions inside the app, or delete TrialGuard from your iPhone to remove its container and everything stored in it.
