What is ForThem for?
ForThem gives each important person one place for gift ideas, sizes, favourites, needs and small useful notes. It is organised around people instead of separate documents.
How do I add a person?
Open People, tap the plus button, enter a name and save. Relationship, icon, colour and a private general note are optional.
How do I save and track a gift?
Open Gifts and tap plus, or open a person and choose Gift idea from the plus menu. A gift can move through Idea, To Buy, Bought, Wrapped and Given. It can also keep an occasion, expected price, hiding place and private note.
How does the Shop list work?
Shop automatically combines every gift still marked Idea or To Buy. Each item remains attached to its person. Use the button below an item to move an Idea to shopping or mark a To Buy item as bought.
How do I add a size, favourite, need or note?
Open a person, tap plus and choose the kind of detail. Existing entries can be opened to edit them, and a long press offers a delete action.
Where is my data kept?
Inside ForThem on your iPhone. The app has no account, developer server, analytics, advertising or networking code, and it asks for no permissions.
Does ForThem work offline?
Yes. Every feature works without an internet connection because all app data and functionality are local to your iPhone.
How do I move my data to another iPhone?
ForThem 1.0 does not include its own sync or export feature. Apple may transfer app data as part of an iPhone backup or device-to-device migration, but ForThem does not send or sync your records itself.
How do I erase my data?
Delete individual entries in ForThem, delete a person to remove everything attached to them, or delete the app to remove its local container and stored data from that iPhone.
